Warren is a part-time lecturer (teaching intensive) at Swinburne University of Technology (SUT), this semester teaching POL20004 Politics of the Pacific and POL10002 International Politics. When not teaching, He works with the Australian Army’s 4th/19th Prince of Wales’s Light Horse Regiment, having recently returned from a 6-month operational deployment. He completed a Master of War Studies at King’s College London, while also having studied at Deakin University, Uppsala University in Sweden and The George Washington University in the U.S. His research has primarily focused on Western foreign and defence policy towards Indonesia and East Timor (Timor-Leste). He has also spoken in Gallipoli, Turkey on Anzac Day and has hiked the Kokoda Track. He is an active member of the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA).
