The Standard is an online publication showcasing journalism by students at Swinburne University.
The Standard runs stories on a wide range of topical issues, including cruelty to animals, cashing in superannuation to cover costs of IVF, drug purchases online, the impact on children of jailed parents, the stigma of mental illness, and exploitation of young people in the workforce.
The Standard is on the lookout for strong, compelling stories that inform and entertain, in text, audio and video. Photographs to illustrate the stories are important too.
