Each year we award the Baylis and Smith Prize to the best student essay or overall student performance in POL20010 International Relations and Security Studies.

The prize is named after the Baylis, Smith and Owens (eds) popular textbook The Globalisation of World Politics, published by Oxford University Press, which is used across our international relations units.

Our 2015 winner was Irini Vasilakakos. Irini produced outstanding essays for this unit, and her prize of $150 OUP book vouchers is well deserved!
